- What I do in Community Village
- I am the Workshops & Demos coordinator, and I volunteer at the Master Gardeners booth.
- Tell us a little about yourself
- Currently I am a Stay-At-Home-Mom, an avid gardener, woodworker, landscaper, do-it-yourselfer, cook, food preserver, bird-watcher, mushroom picker, and school volunteer. Formerly I was a field wildlife biologist, still am, too, but not getting paid to do it anymore. I love camping and hiking and doing anything outdoors, especially with my kids, in which I am rediscovering the wonders of the world around us, through their eyes. Sometimes I get too busy to sit back and notice things, but then my son says "Wow Mom! Come and look at THIS dragonfly larvae I just found!!!, isn't it cool?" "Yeah Qinn, that is just really cool!" :) Seeing the Fair through their eyes is also very cool....

- The Village Restaurant, of course! And the Greek food booth by Main Stage...i forget what it's called...
- Favorite thing to do at the fair
- Walking around with no agenda, no schedule, no worries, and magically finding that perfect show or act, or that long lost friend, or that favorite food.... and partying 'til LATE!
